Taking a Subway in Seoul can be the nest way to travel. It's cheap and time consuming. You can never be late for an appointment taking the subway.
The Seoul Subway System offers 8 Subway Lines throughout Seoul. The fares are rather cheap. There are basically two fares: a 600 won ticket and a 700 won ticket within Seoul. Fares may increase, if you are traveling to one the cities around Seoul, for example Inchon & Uijong-Bu City. Pre-Paid subway tickets can be purchased for 10,000 won at a 10% discount. Free tickets are available for senior citizens above the age of 65 years old.
English is available in all subway stations throughout Seoul.
